Did you know? All parcels in Woodlands County with a residence are required to have a blue rural address sign.
Rural addresses are based on the location of the primary access along the road allowance. In an emergency, they help pinpoint the access point to a property.
Each residence on a property must have its own sign, and they cannot be changed. The Woodlands County GIS team assigns addresses, and staff order and install blue rural address signs.
For further information, to order a sign, or to have one moved, please contact the Woodlands County office in Whitecourt at 780-778-8400
