Did you know? One water main break can cost between $75,000 and $200,000 to repair!
Since 2020, a portion of your monthly water and sewer fees has been set aside in a Future Replacement Fund. This fund helps the County save for major repairs or upgrades to the water and sewer systems in both hamlets.
As of October 2025, the fund has:
$289,016.48 for water
$225,841.62 for sewerHaving this fund helps avoid sudden large costs or unexpected tax increases. These amounts have been built up over time, and no withdrawals have been made.
